Over 5 000 visitors, an exciting and noticeably varied programme: from Wednesday to Saturday, 163 public transport suppliers and operators presented their new products and services at the first suissetraffic in Bern. As well as the main exhibition, this trade fair also provided a platform for personal meetings, conferences led by experts, as well as the suissetraffic Symposium for top executives from the fields of politics, industry and transport companies.

This autumn, the suissetraffic international trade fair takes place in Bern for the first time. One of the highpoints will be the well-supported Symposium on 11 November 2009. Leading representatives from the worlds of politics, industry and public transport in Europe will discuss their solutions for «Rail and bus 2030» in a transport market that is currently very eventful. Amongst the speakers are the Swiss Minister of Transport, Federal Councillor Moritz Leuenberger, Johannes Ludewig, Executive Director of the Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies, SBB CEO Andreas Meyer, as well as many more top representatives from large industrial corporations.

The international trade fair for public transport sends out positive signals: with the agreement of Moritz Leuenberger to attend as a speaker, the signing up of over 120 exhibitors to date and 3,500 m2of exhibition space, suissetraffic is well on course. 20.08.2008 "transport CH" is born out of "transport fribourg" and "suissetransport"

The Organising Committee of transport fribourg and the people responsible for suissetransport in Bern have come up with an answer to this question with a joint solution for the future.
