suissetraffic: Connections guaranteed in September 2011
The date has now been set for the successful continuation and further development of suissetraffic. From 6 to 9 September 2011, Switzerland will yet again become the central market platform for public transport in Europe. Preparations for the organisation of the next suissetraffic, the international trade fair for public transport, are already in full swing.
The suissetraffic international trade fair in Berne (Switzerland) will bring together for the second time the entire supply industry to the public transport sector. All in all, suissetraffic offers a representative cross-section with innovations from the fields of railway technology, railway infrastructure, transport IT, transport services, freight handling/logistics, buses and bus technology, track and tunnel construction, funicular and aerial cableway technology, as well as training and further education. Extensive support from industry, various associations, organisations and transport companies underlines the great significance of this important market platform for public transport in the centre of Europe.
Exhibition concept
The first suissetraffic in 2009 provided the perfect platform for meeting both exhibitors and decision makers. We intend carrying on along these lines. The combination of trade fair, symposium, conferences and parallel special events at suissetraffic 2011 also offers an ideal meeting point, enabling exhibitors to maintain contact with customers, suppliers from the industry, policy makers and transport companies. This trade fair takes place once every two years (in odd years), alternating with InnoTrans Berlin.
